Alarm Notifications from IGSS Mobile stopped working

My smartphone stopped receiving alarm notification from IGSS Mobile. It used to work. How can I fix this?

Answer:

The most likely cause is that the device registration for notifications expired or the phone changed its device ID after a system update.
To resolve the issue, you will need to re-install IGSS Mobile. A new install will re-register your device for IGSS Mobile notifications. Just remember to add the IGSS Plant again, and subscribe for alarm messages in the IGSS Mobile app.
